Paige Huffman

Health policy analyst and reporter

About

I’m a health policy analyst and budding reporter based in Washington, D.C. My work focuses on the exorbitant cost of healthcare in the United States, from rising costs in rural areas to prescription drug pricing to growing private equity investment.

I have written for the Commonwealth Fund and for the British Medical Journal on the carbon footprint of inhalers, international drug pricing, high colonoscopy costs, and more.

I am currently a fellow in the Journalism and Health Impact program at the University of Toronto. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science in Health Economics, Policy & Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
